About Elite Remodeling
Are you licensed and insured?
We carry liability, disability and worker’s compensation insurance with total coverage of $2 million. Sure it may seem excessive; and yes, that policy was difficult and expensive to get, but we believe our clients should have complete peace of mind when we are working in their home.
Can you provide references?
Yes we can! Visit our testimonials page on our website. You may also want to check third party reviews on websites such as Google, Facebook, Yelp, Houzz, Better Business Bureau and more.
Do you have architects, interior designers, and other specialists on staff at Elite Remodeling?
We do not have architects on staff, but we have relationships with some of the top architects and architectural firms in the area.
We do have deep backgrounds in all of the appropriate disciplines relating to design, construction, project management and business management. One of our key focus areas has always been education.
Elite has more “Certified” professionals on staff than any other Remodeler in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.
In fact we are the only Professional Remodeler to have “on staff” a National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Certified Graduate Remodeler, from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) a Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler, Certified Project Manager AND from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) a Certified Kitchen Designer and a Certified Bathroom Designer. By focusing on education, we are able to continually seek ways to improve our skills and construction processes and methodologies.
Does Elite Remodeling have all their required remodeling licenses?
Elite is registered in all local municipalities and counties to perform a wide range of construction and renovation services for our clients. Texas does not require remodelers and most contractors to have licenses. Some situations do require permits from your city and county, and when they are required, Elite Remodeling will document and procure all necessary permits.
How long has Elite Remodeling been in business?
Elite has proudly been in business since 2002.
How much experience do you have with home kitchen remodeling?
Elite Remodeling has a variety of specialties and skill-sets. Kitchen remodeling is one of the most critical types of renovations that you can undergo in your home. It is crucial that you find a remodeling company that specializes in kitchen remodeling. Kitchen renovation professionals that have a significant amount of experience are more qualified to manage large kitchen renovation projects. Always ask your contractor about their level of expertise when it comes to these types of renovations.
Where are you located?
Elite Remodeling is located on the Southeast corner of Preston Road and Gaylord Parkway. Our showroom is facing north to Gaylord Parkway and the Lowes Hardware across the street.

Design Services
Can you help with the design phase of my project?
Yes, of course. We do offer full design services and materials consultation for the entire project. However, we do not offer design services without also providing fulfillment, construction and installation services.
If I sign a design agreement, do I get to keep the design if I decide not to build the project with Elite Remodeling?
No, you will not be able to keep a set of the design plans until we have mutually agreed to move forward as your builder. The designs we create are meant for developing your final contract amount with us and they are the first step towards getting your permits, once the design is finalized. They are not a “build set” which can be distributed for estimates from other contractors. We highly suggest contacting an architect if you are looking for an architectural build set of plans that you can distribute to contractors to get competitive bids.
What is Elite Remodeling’s Process once we get started with a consultation?
Identifying a clear vision for each unique design is paramount. We are committed to uncompromising design, extraordinary quality and finish, and, most importantly, our client’s utmost satisfaction. You can view our simple FOUR-STEP PROCESS from idea to complete remodel here.
What is the difference between an estimate and a design agreement?
An estimate is free and is an educated price that is prepare for your project. If you are completing a major renovation (such as a whole house remodel or addition), the price is for the entire project. The price of the project may fluctuate as you move through the process of design.
A design agreement means you have selected Elite Remodeling as your renovation company but you are not quite sure yet on the design you want to build. The agreement is for the design portion only so we can come to an agreement of the design and final project price prior to signing a contract for the full contract amount.
Will I need to pay for a design agreement?
Most kitchen and bathroom remodels are contracted without a design agreement. Design agreements are most typically used for major renovations of multiple rooms (such as a whole house remodel) or home addition projects.
Our Process
Do you need permits to remodel a bathroom?
In Texas, Home Improvement Professionals and Remodeling Companies are not required to have a general contractor’s license. However, most of the renovations Elite Remodeling completes for our customers involve specialized trades such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC specialists, who do require licenses. At Elite Remodeling, each of those specialists are indeed licensed in the state of Texas.
How can we get more storage space in our kitchen?
One of the most coveted things of any kitchen is… having enough space! Adding more space is part of virtually every kitchen renovation. We have yet to hear anyone complain of too much space. Working with our CERTIFIED kitchen design specialists, you can expand your available space through, expanded/reconfigured island cabinetry, open shelving, re-imagine your walk-in-pantry, special pull out appliance racks, and much more.
How do you handle mistakes or disagreements?
It is wise and highly recommended to ask your kitchen contractor how disagreements will be handled before any work is started. Problems, or as we like to call them, “Hurdles,” can and likely will arise during a remodel. Furthermore, we are all human, and sometimes mistakes will be made. Understanding how a contractor handles mistakes and disagreements upfront can save you a lot of frustration, hassle (and money) later. When possible, get this information in writing for your records.
How long will a kitchen remodel take?
The biggest variables in project duration are size, design and selections, and of course – construction. It’s no surprise that a big, complex remodel will take longer than a simple kitchen upgrade. At the initial meeting with our homeowner, the best way of providing the most accurate estimate of time to completion is to explain the process we follow every project. But, for greater detail, visit our page specifically on this topic: How Long Will My Project Take?

How much will it cost us to remodel our kitchen?

What do costs include and how are overages handled?
Remodeling a kitchen will be the most expensive room in your home and may require a substantial investment. It is essential to review the costs with your remodeling contractor upfront thoroughly. Be sure also to find out what expenses your contractor’s estimate does NOT cover.
